14k gold is 58.3% pure gold mixed with stronger alloys, which makes it more durable for everyday wear. 18k gold is 75% pure, giving it a warmer, richer color. Both are real solid gold and both are excellent.
Always. Every Burgos piece is solid 14k or 18k gold — never plated, never gold-filled. Each order arrives with a certificate of authenticity.
Yes — it’s one of our favorite things to do. Share a feeling, a sketch, or a saved inspiration photo and we’ll design a one-of-a-kind piece.
We do. We resize, restring, and refinish solid gold pieces in-house, and every Burgos order includes a complimentary first resizing.
Solid gold is wonderfully low-maintenance — you can shower, swim, and sweat in it. Wipe it now and then with a soft cloth and store pieces separately.
